Dawson and Associates was awarded a contract to design, build and full function test three SGT-A35 (RB211-24GT) lubrication oil consoles to replace legacy Mark 2 units on a North Sea platform. These new lube oil consoles could also replace legacy Mark 1 or Mark 3 models and will support all RB211-22/24A/24B/24C/24G/24GT gas turbine marks. Further, these new LOCs were designed to fit within the same space envelope and facilitate rapid install and commissioning. The first of these three units is scheduled to enter service in 2020.
